An Act Concerning the Department of Children and Families and the Protection of Children - PA-14-186
This act allows the Department of Children and Families to provide services to victims of trafficking, forming teams to review trafficking cases and providing training regarding human trafficking to law enforcement.
An Act Concerning Human Trafficking - PA-17-32
This bill moves the punishment for the crime of trafficking persons from a Class B felony to a Class A felony (10-25 years in prison and/or up to $20,000 fine).
